Clouds in my coffee, and...

Well, I hear you went upward to Saratoga and your horse naturally won

Question: Many years ago in church nosotros sang a hymn that contained the lyrics, "a little scrap of sunshine in the rain." I have searched for the music for this song for a very long time, but cannot observe anything. Can y'all please help me with this?

Answer: I retrieve this is the song you want. Sometimes people's memories of lyrics are not 100% exact. There was no exact match, and other songs that came close were not church building-worthy. There is a hymn, even so, chosen "Sunshine In The Mount" that The Carter Family (a folk group) and others have sung:

When our hearts are bound in sorrow

And it seems all help is gone

Jesus whispers practice not falter

I will exit you lot not solitary

Then somehow amongst my trials

How it is I cannot see

Then I hear a voice from heaven

Gently saying follow me

At that place is sunshine in the shadows

There is sunshine in the rain

There is sunshine in our sorrows

And our hearts are filled with hurting

There is sunshine when we're burdened

There is sunshine when we pray

There is sunshine heavenly sunshine

Blessed sunshine all the style

Sometimes my friends forsake me

And I'm tempted to despair

So I think of my dear savior

To lay his head His head nowhere

Oh, it pays to follow Jesus

Simply to learn of him each twenty-four hour period

And I'll guarantee you, my brothers

Y'all'll take sunshine all the style

There is sunshine in the shadows

At that place is sunshine in the rain

There is sunshine in our sorrows

And our hearts are filled with hurting

There is sunshine when nosotros're burdened

In that location is sunshine when we pray

There is sunshine heavenly sunshine

Blessed sunshine all the way.
